Our Superpower Awards are awarded each week for positive behaviour, fabulous learning and for following our Superpillar Powers each week. Miss Waterland and Miss Perry are always looking out for the children to show us how they are following the 'Superpillar' Learning Powers in order to receive a 'Superpillar' sticker from Mrs Bitcon.
Spark is proud of Jimmy for asking questions to help with his learning this week. We are also really pleased to see that Jimmy is using and applying the skills he has learnt when carrying out independent activities. Keep up the hard work!
Shadow is proud of Anya, Ethan, Jacob, Alice, Maisie and Isabel for showing respect while on our monk day visit. It was noticed from the speakers that these children particularly listened carefully and were able to empathise with what life would be like as a monk. Well done you.
Shadow is proud of Logan S, Anya, Emily, Chelsea, Frankee and Gabriel for their incredible team effort during the netball tournament this week. They were very supportive of each other and showed great sportsmanship. Well done, you can be very proud!
Scarlet is proud of Charlie, Logan C, Luke, Jacob, George, Isabel, Lily D, Lilly N, Alice and Sophia for the effort in the golf festival this week as they took a risk and tried something new. We were especially pleased to see their super team work. Well done you!
Silver is proud of Ethan for his hard work in Phonics this week, he has worked incredibly hard with Mrs Kaur and has managed his distractions to plan and write an incredible persuasive piece of writing advertising a new gadget. Keep up the hard work!
Silver is proud of all of Year 4 for planning, rehearsing and delivering a super class assembly this week! They worked really well as a team to choose interesting activities that they could teach to the rest of the school. Well done, you can all be very proud.
Shadow is proud of John-Michael and Jacob for their partner work in Maths. They have been helping each other by explaining how to work something out and discussing strategies, instead of simply telling each other the answer.

Silver is proud of all of Year 4 for carefully planning their own persuasive texts. We were pleased to see that the children all went back through their writing and worked carefully with their partner to edit their work (using a given checklist).
Scarlet is proud of Charlie and Chelsea for their perseverance with their handwriting. They have really tired hard (both at home and in school) and we are very proud of them for keeping going, even when they find it bit tricky. Well done you!

Scarlet is proud of Jacob for managing his distractions. I have noticed a really mature attitude since coming back and I’m pleased to see that Jacob is thinking carefully about what to do if he is feeling distracted.
Spark is very proud of Emily because during an art lesson she used her imagination and considered which materials to use before she started on creating an Anthony Browne style drawing.
Scarlet is very proud of Frankee because she showed perseverance when working out a multi-stepped maths problem.
Scarlet is also proud of George who showed perseverance and this week was able to swim on his front and back for the first time.
Scarlet is proud of Sophia because during maths she found 'area' tricky but she persevered and by the end of the lesson she was able to explain it to me.
Shadow is very proud of Chloe because she showed empathy and respect when writing her prayer.
